Connect your encoder

Your stream key is retrieved directly from Mux only when you request it.

Keep your stream key private.
Anyone with this key can broadcast to your channel. It is never included in page source or logs.

OBS SETUP

Go live in eight steps

  1. Open OBS Settings.
  2. Select Stream.
  3. Choose Custom service.
  4. Paste the uc8Live RTMPS server URL.
  5. Paste the stream key.
  6. Apply the settings.
  7. Press Start Streaming.
  8. Return here and wait for the status to change to Live.

Recommended baseline

Use H.264 video, AAC audio, a 2-second keyframe interval, and constant bitrate. Choose a sensible 720p or 1080p preset based on your upload connection—there is no single mandatory bitrate.

Browser broadcasting is coming later. A camera preview is not a Mux broadcast; use OBS or another RTMPS encoder today.
